Triple Thursday
I like the idea of riding around on a Chia pet. seems like a comfy way to travel or just laze around. Mario Hamdretti explains itself. Since reading 'the Mouse and the Motorcycle' as a kid, I always wanted a rodent who could tool around in a small powered car. As for Granny smack down, well...it's like a cat fight but with more grey hair and funnier expressions.

Puffy Cats
SO on this episode of Wait, Wait Don't Tell Me, Paula Poundstone explained that her cats got puffy before the recent earthquake. It's a sort of pre-warning system, if you pay attention.
Peter Sagal suspected the cats go puffy, so they could bounce off the walls as a defense mechanism.
And I just love drawing funny pictures of cats. Also I've noticed that I get most of my news from pop culture stuff.

bugs can drive
So I was listening to one of the Scientific American podcasts (sciam.com) and Steve Mirsky mentions how he saw a bug big enough to carjack a Mini in New York city. A bug driving a VW bug is worn, but a bug driving a Mini Cooper, hilarious!

Joker and Batman Have Tea
So Mike Schmidt the comedian, mentioned on his podcast, that he was so looking forward to seeing The Dark Knight. He is such a Batman fan that he would even watch a documentary of Batman and the Joker having tea. That cracked me up. It's not a podcast for kids.

Tom's Trojan Apple and Grease Thief
It's two for Tom Merritt Tuesday. Tom usually plays the straight man to Molly's ranting hilarity, but he does say funny things sometimes.
For instance the raccoon grease thieves stealing grease from restaurants. Clearly they have to use that grease for something; so the crazy hair. Or maybe I watched Grease too much as a kid.
Then there's the Trojan Apple. I listen to Buzz Out Loud everyday, so that's why I have lots of funny BOL pictures in my head.

Lazy Bakers
So on all of Season 1 of Never Not Funny, there was a joke about a lazy baker's dozen. That would be 11 of anything. Funny show.

buzz out loud's piracy laser
Overheard some funny stuff this week. I got a couple more coming, but here's the first. Wed.'s Buzz Out Loud featured a rant on the RIAA and the phrase money seeking piracy laser was used. How do I not draw that???

I was explaining to a friend how super comfortable my new robe from Grandma was. Then it occurred to me what a great super power that would be. So I sent this comic to Grams as a thank you. If you click on the pic, you can read it.

thanksgiving car chat
During some Thanksgiving car chat with friends, the topic of driving gestures came up. We discussed what makes us feel better when driving around crazy people. When someone mentioned 'the bird', this little pic popped into my head. When that happens, I generally start giggling and then I have to explain myself. We all had a good laugh. I thought this would be a good T-Shirt. So I put it up on Zazzle.
